We talk to The December Streets ahead of OneSight Acoustics.
What kind of set can we expect from you at OneSight Acoustics?
We are playing a lot of our new material in a live set that we have been working on and refining for a ling time with new instruments and vocals etc, so Sunday will be an energy filled experience
What have you been up to? And, what are your plans for the rest of the year?
Apart form working on our new set, and touring, we’ve been writing and experimenting with new sounds, specifically on a new track that we will be releasing soon. As for the rest of the year, we will be on the road, touring The Western Cape
Why are you part of the OneSight Acoustics initiative?
It’s an important initiative, raising awareness for sight impediment, so we’re happy to be part of it. Its probably because most of us wear glasses through.
How do you think your music can change the world?
Music is and always will be one of the most powerful influencers in initiating change. It has a way of reaching people not many other mediums can. Our music specifically, I’m not looking to change the world, or not exactly;y sure how it would yet.
I’d be happy if we had influence/effect or change within a few peoples lives.
