Post-Rock/Alternative hip-hop musician, Son Lux from New York City, finally dropped the music video for (easily) one of the most timeless songs I’ve heard this year. This song has been redone with Lorde , but the original has a certain feel to it that is not quite captured by the young girl from New Zealand’s woozy vocals.
This black and white video features some bondage (no sex, but NSFW) and an elderly lady with eerie eyes (visual artist Carolyn Weltmann). The video beautifully illustrates the songs feel, and it ends with a reluctant kiss.
Was the girl kidnapped? Was the girl the older woman remembering a weird relationship? Decide for yourself.
