Afripedia is a platform and a visual guide to art, film, photography, fashion, design, music and contemporary culture from African creatives worldwide.

The project by Stocktown Films serves the purpose of educating the world on the amazing things that African artists are doing.

They have launched a five-part documentary series that features artists from six African countries: Angola, Ghana, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Kenya and Senegal. You get to see the contemporary culture scenes from those countries as told by the artists in the features. Some of the artists featured in the Afripedia documentary series include Titica, Nástio Mosquito, MC Sacerdote, Andrew Kaggia, Gazelle and Ree-burth.

You can catch Afripedia: Kenya on DSTV this weekend. Click here for more details.
