Alexandre Rochard is a Senegalese-born photographer. He descends from a french father and German mother.
“I speak French at home, and English in the ‘real world’, so to speak. I moved to South Africa in 2009 in order to start a new chapter in my life.”
This is where Alexandre started to develop a relationship with passion for photography.
“I’ve always loved creating images of other human beings. Trying to capture the essence of someones personality or telling a story through a character, really intrigues me. I thrive off of portrait photography in particular, whether on film, or digital mediums.”
Alex will be retiring from the production life soon, in order to shoot commercially full time.
